Silent Film

Conclusion Questions:

1. In as much detail as possible record the steps it took to create your Silent Film in Adobe Premiere Rush. Use complete sentences. Try to recall as many of the different tools and processes as possible.

To create a silent film in Capcut it took recording the video in small snippets to upload. Then to edit it we had to use overlays and copyright-free music as background effects. Then we used editing like zooming in and using text overlay to create the words in the film.

2. What was the easiest part of the process of making a silent film? What was the most difficult part? How did you overcome it?

The easiest part of making the film was making the plot line and drawing it out. The hardest part of the film was actually filming the plot line created. It was hard because either it didn't turn out how it was planned or it was a last-minute disagreement. To overcome it we changed the ending of the silent film to a different ending.

3. What was the experience of working with a group like? Did everyone carry their own weight and contribute equally to the production process? Why or why not?

Working with a group is something I usually do not like doing, but it was fun because it was with my friends. Everyone carried their own weight and contributed equally by either filming or creating a poster or editing the video. It worked out easily because there was comfort within the group.

4. Based on the learning target, "Understand the component steps and skills required to design, edit, and produce a Silent Film by producing a storyboard, script, audio and video clips that use characterization, style, and related elements for specific aesthetic purposes ". What level of mastery does your project demonstrate (Exceeds, Meets, Needs Work, minimal understanding) Why do you think so? Make sure to provide specific evidence.

I think I meet the learning target because this project was a bit more challenging than others since I am not too creative. I was more dependent on my groupmates for creativity and it was a bit more challenging.
