How I Made "What's In A Name?"
1. In as much detail as possible record the steps it took to create this project in photoshop. Use complete sentences.​
To create my what's in a name. I first used the text box tool to write my name and then changed the text font. Then I used google to find pictures and upload them. Using the move tool I moved the images onto my name as needed, used the free transform tool to move and crop the images then used the clipping mask to put the images into my name. After I copied the layer I needed to create popouts I used the selection tool to select the object in the image as needed. Then after I created a layer mask on the duplicate layer to make the popout. Afterward, I went back to my name to add a drop shadow effect by clicking the effects and adding a drop shadow. I did the same for my popouts to create the final result above.

2. What are clipping masks? How do they differ from just using the eraser tool in photoshop? How might you use them in the future to create more projects in photoshop?
Clipping masks are a group of layers that are masked onto another layer or text. The clipping mask differs from the eraser tool because the clipping mask gives a more accurate mask compared to the eraser tool, it is also quicker to use. I may use the clipping mask to make a logo or something that includes multiple images in one.
3. What was successful in your project? What was unsuccessful and what would you do differently next time to solve this problem?
Something that was successful in my project was including all 15 pictures and some extra pictures as well. Something that was unsuccessful was the coordination of the images., so something I would do differently next time would be to coordinate a theme for my projects so it looks neat.

" what level of mastery does your project demonstrate (Exceeds, Meets, Needs Work, minimal understanding). Why do you think this? Make sure to provide specific evidence.
I believe I exceeded my project as I added more images and popouts. I also added cultural places and interests mine. I also added animals that I really liked and nature another thing that I really like.
